Speculation at the fringes of history and science. Is it unlikely but, on the evidence, not impossible? Or quite likely but lacking sound evidence? Or even likely but ignored because of prejudice. email us your fringe ideas. This website has information and speculations on the fringe of science and history.
pliz my dear freind, can you prove that your assumption is right?can science create an ant? Jesus\' miracles are proven in the lives of believers: experiences - hard to understand by clever people because its too simple.but if you can prove yourself besides what is there before you, that you observe etc- you see we are caretakers only, but like Mr Adam crossing an inch yonder, pondering etc and etc...painted himself toatlly black instead of the destined white.I willbe interested to hear from you
Ancient texts, whether considered today as literary or historical, have to be read realizing that they were not abstract writings. Every one is commissioned (usually by a king) of scribes (who did not write for fun) for a purpose (often propaganda) with a channel of dissemination (often the temple or prophets) for an audience (mainly the people). Moreover, the ancients did not distinguish categories of writing as we do. What we consider literary works, which might be fantastical or supernatural in storyline, are set in the natural world familiar to the author, and what we regard as historical is often partly fictional whether for propaganda reasons or simply because the records were inadequate and the stories, though hiostorical, became mythologised. In respect of a history of the Jews, our sources, methods, and aims are utterly distinct from those of the original authors of the bible. Scholar Mario Liverani’s book Beyond the Bible dates the Judaean kingdom from about 930 BC.
