Just as the historical books of the Old Testament are not history, so the Gospels are not biography.

AskWhy! From Judaism to Christianity- Christianity Revealed—you don’t know what you’re talking about, may God’s Holy Spirit reveal the truth to you. Amen

Am I to suppose that God’s Holy Spirit has revealed the truth to you? People who believe in ghosts are deluded. Deluded people cannot tell the truth from fiction. That is the trouble with Christianity.

Jesus is not a ghost! Just ask him to reveal the truth to you and he will if you’re open and really want to know. Stop playing games and get real.

I am revealing the truth. Christians are not. They are playing the games and telling the lies. You should get real, yourself. You can begin by reading the truth on my pages.

As you may have guessed I am a christian; until you’ve taken that step of faith and asked Jesus into your life you’ll never know pure love, forgiveness or peace; Jesus changes your outlook on life, if you’re going back to the Crusades, Ireland etc those times were so wrong - christians who are born of the Holy Spirit cannot do those terrible things.

At the end of this email you tell me not to mock your faith which is real. You sound as though you would be upset if I did mock it. You, though, feel an absolute right to insult me by telling me that I do not know love, peace or forgiveness. It is typical of Christians that they demand the right to insult everyone who is not a Christian but are extremely touchy themselves when criticised. I have a large number of pages criticising Christianity most often from the viewpoint of historical truth. Christians simply cannot understand what truth is. That is their excuse for incessantly lying, but whether Christians understand it or not, there is a truth, and to be true it must be demonstrably true. Christianity is not. It is entirely subjective and worse, psychotic. Its own history proves it.

You say Christians cannot do horrible things, so you select, after the event, who the real Christians are. That might be so, for all I know, but the point is that people who call themselves Christians are liars and torturers, and so the act of being a Christian does nothing for these people. It proves that Christianity is a fraud and a sham, and is used by rogues to hide their evil deeds. It is happening this very moment, with self-boastful Christians, Bush, Rumsfeld, Blair and so on, killing and torturing by the thousand.

Jesus told us to love our enemies until they realise their own wickedness. Jesus turns all our ideas upside down. Read Acts of the Apostles and see how Saul was changed on the Damascus Road when he was a fervent christian hater and persecuter. The risen Jesus spoke to Saul shining as a bright light, Saul was blinded for 3 days until Ananias (who was told by God) went and prayed with Saul. Like scales falling off his eyes Saul could see - with his eyes and spiritually, and God now called him Paul; he became the greatest christian since his saviour Jesus.

I cannot see that Bush and Blair are loving their enemies. It is simply a Christian lie that they do it. Then you continue to insult me by telling me to read what I must have read in order to criticize it in detail, as I have. It illustrates another aspect of Christians. They think they know everything without having to do any work studying. God presumably tells you all that you need to know. I have read all about Paul the apostle, and I have several pages about him. I suggest you read them, though you will not, and, even if you were to begin them, you would never finish the task, because I put over an alternative Paul that you would never consider, but which fits the data we have about him better than your idea about him. Paul invented the absurd idea that faith and nothing more is sufficient to get God’s favour. He was the first Christian rogue. Christ’s own brother in the bible, James, did not agree with Paul’s deception. Faith was not sufficient for him, and he ought to have known better than Paul.

Please don’t mock my faith which is real.

It is real to you because Christian cheats have made you dependent on it. If God is all mighty, then He must know everything that you think and do. He knows whether you have faith ot not, and it can mean nothing to him otherwise. What He must want, if He is good, as Christians claim, is that people will do good in the world, not evil. He therefore must want people to follow the teaching of James not Paul. An all mighty God knows that Christianity is a rotten tree because He told you how to tell. It bears rotten fruit. The fruit of Christianity through the ages has been death, wickedness, robbery, and torture. No good person could possibly read Christ’s dictum that the tree is known by its fruit and want to be a Christian.

People are good by being good and by doing good. Otherwise what is the use of it? Good thoughts, good words and good deeds are proof of goodness, and that is what a good God must want. If you are a good person yourself, then you are good despite Christianity not because of it. Don’t you think an all mighty God must know this? If you do, you can get rid of the middle men and stand by yourself before your God without Christian rogues getting in your way.

Please don’t correspond with me again, I can see I’m wasting my time, I’m sorry you don’t understand.

Before you go, think about this…

A typical Christian mistranslation appears in Acts 17:22. Paul begins an address to the Athenians in the Areopagus, saying, “I see that you are somewhat superstitious.” It is not the way to win converts by insulting them, and it is not Paul’s way, a man who bragged he could make himself acceptable to anyone. In fact, he was flattering them saying, “I see you are inclined to be religious.” The Greek word, deisidaimonesterous, suggests a fear of the spirit, what to a Christian is a fear of God. The translators did not want to suggest the truth, that pagans felt the same way to their gods, the daimones, as Christians do to theirs. They were just as godfearing! Classical Greek texts use it in the sense of godfearing without implying any disdain, but do sometimes use it with a disdainful connotation because the intelligent Greeks doing the writing most often disdained religion themselves, and occassionally said so. Most often, though, they were more cautious, because they were only too familiar with the believers’ determination to violently defend beings, who could destroy a city, if not the world, at a glance. Belief is just as much, if not more of an excuse to do ill as it is to do good.
