Before you go, think about this…

The burden of proof in any argument is on those making the positive assertion. When anyone claims their beliefs stand up under under legal scrutiny by the rules of evidence, the burden of proof is on the claimant. All the opponent has to do is to show as false any assertion made as evidence by the claimant. So, anyone faced by a Christian affirming Christianity as true has no legal obligation to prove it false. Insistence by the Christian that the burden of proof is on the one denying their claim shows they cannot prove it, and it must fall. It is a basic principle of law. If the government says you are a terrorist or a liberal and wants to bang you up forever, it has to prove it. You do not have to prove you are innocent. When this principle is abandoned, the state is fascist!
