Before you go, think about this…

Three women were being selected for a difficult posting in a troubled part of the world. One was an American Moslem, one an atheist woman from New York and one a Southern Evangelical. To test their coping abilities, they were put into hypothetical situations. “Suppose your plane crashes into the sea and you are in a life raft approaching an island. On the beach are a platoon of American marines. What would you do?” The American Moslem girl said, “I would turn around and row to another island”. The New York atheist girl said, “I would land and demand to see their Commanding Officer”. The southern Christian girl looked puzzled. “Don’t you understand the situation?” the examiner asked. “Of course”, she replied, “but what is the problem?”
