Before you go, think about this…

Pseudoscience is indifferent to facts. Proponents of it make up anything to convince the gullible, even when just consulting reference books would settle the issue. They depend on ignorance and apathetic acceptance of seemingly authoritative statements. Because the facts of the pseudoscience are untrue, there is never any need to update them. Pseudoscience nearly always depends on an old classic book or books that are forever true. Even obvious mistakes, errors, and misprints are not or rarely corrected. Mistakes in it are explained away. Science is continually revised and textbooks are frequently updated because of the progress of science. (Distinguishing Science and Pseudoscience, csj.org)
