AW! Epistles

Abstract

Dr Magee makes many false claims, charges etc, in his documents, concerning the integrity of Yeshua The Messiah, how do allow him to continue unchallenged? if he is proven wrong is he prepared to repent and admit his errors????
I do not know where you have been but when you read the pages written by Dr Mike Magee you will have no need to ask this question. Now, why not go away for a while and read some of it, then you will not need to ask questions that are already answered.
Just to take two examples: (1) Yeshua (Jesus) made it very clear that it is ONLY those who seek to do God’s will will know if Yeshua’s teachings are from God John 7:17. “If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.” YESHUA did NOT say, for example, it is those who read what Albert Sweitzer or what Dr Magee or any theologian or historian or philosopher writes on the matter “will know if Yeshua’s teachings are from God.”
(2) Once again Dr Magee makes the wild erroneous claim that “The Kingdom of God had not come” in the days of Yeshua and is not now present. He fails to take into account Yeshua’s explanation that for anyone to “See and enter the kingdom of God” that person “Must be born again.” John 3:3. Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:5. Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” Dr Magee’s assertions on this important point are simply confirmation that Dr Magee IS NOT BORN OF THE SPIRIT. I await with interest yours and Dr Magee’s responses.
Why not actually read the pages that you criticize and you might begin to understand, although doubtless it will be with difficulty. You recite, with the glibness of the idiot, what Jesus (or Yeshua, if you like) said. What he said is recorded in an ancient book by an anonymous author written nowhere knows where sometime in the second century AD, about 100 years after Jesus or Yeshua was dead. Dr Magee explains in great detail that no one should accept anything unless it is established with evidence and preferably with proof. What proof, or indeed evidence, have you of anything that Jesus said? If you find any such proof or evidence, what proof or evidence have you that it has any authority?
No need to waste our time with an answer. You have none. You believe that this man, with the pseudonym John, records the words of a god merely because someone human, your parents or a priest or a minister, told you, and for no other reason. So when you say that Yeshua (or just Jesus) said this or that, you do not know who it was who said it, and it has no authority at all.
Dr Michael Magee has a full website in which he goes through the evidence painstakingly. Try reading it. If you do not, stop spouting about things that you know nothing about and do not understand.
As for the public debating you speak of in your subject line, nothing could be more public than the internet. That is its point. Are you a schoolboy?
I am indeed very happy to read in your response to my challenge that you perceive me as “an idiot” and as someone you write should “stop spouting about things that you know nothing about and do not understand” I say Hallelujah to that charge which was levelled at Disciples of Yeshua (Jesus) two thousand years ago, John 9:34: They answered him, “You were born entirely in sins, and are you teaching us?” So they put him out. Like the Disciples of two thousand years ago and like the twelve apostles of Yeshua such as Matthew who wrote his gospel testimony in the original Hebrew language as testified by the historians of the day such as Papias. Origen, Irenaeus, Eusebius, etc etc etc I know regarding Yohanan (John), John 21:24: “This is the disciple who is testifying to these things and wrote these things, and we know that his testimony is true.”
Dr Magee closes his bitter response with a question My answer is a resounding “Yes” and I would not wish to be anything else as confirmed by Yeshua when he rejoiced in his spirit and declared, as recorded in Matthew 11:25: At that time Yeshua said, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.”
The “wise and intelligent” such as Sweitzer, Dr Magee etc etc promote the spirit of Anti-Christ because “they have NOT been Born of The Spirit of God” (John 3:3). Dr Magee looks for proof; proof Dr Magee? “I have the proof in my heart” (John 7:17). Where is your proof Dr Magee? as I already pointed out you, your pride prevents you from humbling yourself like a little child and are, as a consequence happy to stand outside of the kingdom, which you claim does not exist “Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” (Mark 10:15). So be it Dr Magee; let you and your deluded followers STAY OUTSIDE OF THE KINGDOM Your choice NOT MINE. Patrick Geaney Disciple of Yeshua http://www.quicksitemaker.com/members/disciples/custom16.html
No doubt you are sufficiently impressed by yourself, but your inability to do anything other than cite ancient books indicates to me that you are not even a schoolboy, simply a monomaniac. You say you have it on good authority, but you have given none except something for Matthew’s gospel, and few modern scholars would agree with you, even Christian ones.
I would suggest you read the pages, but it would obviously do you no good at all. Your brain is stupified by ancient magicians and confidence tricksters. If you really think that God gave you a brain so that you can ignore it, then it is up to you. Not only do you want to be an idiot yourself but you think your God is too. Tell me why God did not give you a built in book of biblical verses instead of a brain, if that is how He wanted you to think.
You are welcome to your unsavoury and wicked religionhistory proves that it what it isbut save me from having to read your ceaseless citations justifying it. I have read them already, and they do not impress me. I am happy to debate with you, if you wish, but don’t bother replying unless you decide to use your brain, instead of searching your ancient tomes for some supposedly apt quotation. No doubt you and your friends can enjoy whole conversations just by quoting biblical references to each other, but I admit it does not enlighten me. I am happy to let the children play together in the schoolyard and the lunatics to bay in unison to the moon in their cells. Best wishes for a swift recovery.
Bless you!
