AskWhy! on Quest for the Historical Jesus - Christianity Revealed. So… u are saying that Christ is a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. That what we christians think he said, he didnt really say? And believing, following, and accepting Christ as my personal, and ONLY savior, is worthless.
Yes, yes, and yes.
Let me ask you what you are living for then? Without a God like Christ, what is the point to existence? Without God, we are accidents! Without Christ, our experience in this life, is worthless and meaningless!!!!
Why are you so conceited that you think your life is worth anything at all to an infinite God? The logic of infinity tells you that any infinite being must experience a finite being as being infinitesimal. Only utterly self-centred beings could imagine that an infinite power centres its interest on them. The Christian Son clearly says that his disciples should be humble, yet all Christians base their faith on the opposite. They are so important that God has picked them and their fellow Christians out from the common herd of ordinary people as His special pets.
It all shows that Christianity is based on pure ignorance and self-delusion. No Christian can bear to examine their beliefs and motives honestly because they are utterly unjustifiable in the terms of their own Holy Word. Not one Christian will think that perhaps God’s test of their worth is how important they actually regard humility. You all fail! The first will be last, and the last first, brother.
Try doing what your God recommended. Be poor, humble and loving to people you do not like instead of supporting the destruction of the creations you say are God’s own even if you do not actively try to destroy God’s work yourself. Perhaps God is trying to destroy you all, my friend, because you have so obviously failed Him.

hmmm… I understand fully why you say so. Christians delude themselves that their figments are reality and reality is illusory.

I had a distinct impression that I answered the first three of your quizzical statements very succinctly. The only questions you asked directly seemed to be rhetorical because you answered them yourself. I do not have to answer them because they are formulated with your presumptions which I reject. If you want to know why, I have written a lot of pages about it, and related matters. Try reading them.

No, it takes a Christian, and Christians are deluded. This illustrates what I said about your presumptions. You presume I must agree with you that there is no point in life without a loving God. I do not. That is your delusion.

So you say. Again you illustrate my point. Your mind is so closed you cannot understand simple words, even if there are a lot of them. They have to be contaminated with your insane belief system first.

Thou hypocrite. You virtually wish me dead then say you will pray for me. Your prayers will be more like curses. You use derisory marks around the word “brother” proving that you are a hypocrite. You are insincere, and do you know something? Christians have to be sincere. Your own God said you have to get rid of the mote in your own eye before you look for beams in your brother’s (Matthew 7:5). You have to forgive your brother’s sins not seven times but seventy times seven (Matthew 18:21), and you have to do this to have your own sins forgiven by God (Matthew 18:35) but you show your irritation after one letter from me that you do not like. He that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes (1 John 2:11). Whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother (1 John 3:10). He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him (1 John 3:14-15). If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also (1 John 4:20-21).
You have condemned yourself. I suggest you read your own God’s words, then your own replies again, and wonder whether you are a tad too smug to have God’s approval.
Ok… I am done fighting this war/battle with you. i do know my God… and im sorry for bothering you with my beliefs. im not closed minded, but you can think whatever you want… its your choice. however, i am going to just quit wasting my time on fighting this issue with you any longer. my last line… is that I do sincerely apoligize for bothering you. and best wishes to you.
