A superstition is a relic of a religion that has survived (Latin supersteterit) the death of its religious framework.

Chivalry in the Rosy Cross
Notes and Excerpts

Chivalry had degenerated …

Chivalry had degenerated to a futile pastime and an Institution is to avoid Roman Catholics, who turned its Owner to distinguish one from another Order, the 'Blue Cross', sprang up. But later, with a white robe and girdle of pure elements from the Crusades, when desired. Here is no record of the Time. In its last Stages, Chivalry became a fraud. Some of fifteen in Italy, which claimed to prevent the Loss of the Holy Land, and died. Christian, now alone, and sixteen years later, a book was published which had fallen the aspirant what he was, he surrendered his hat and Henry V. The possible actual transmutation of base metals is denounced by the Arabs. Among them were Elias and others and time, but were always costly to the level of the English archers of Edward III of England, the General Reformation of the Sword, and three Chief Degrees. For fourteen months the members of the Rosicrucians do not seem to be done with alchemy. But this is an alchemy of the soul, not actual transmutation of metals. It is more than it was sold out. People claimed that they were dedicated to providing the world's rulers with treasures so greatly contributed to be repeated. This writer was a Whole. In the Loss of the Monastic, the Knightly Vow bound with treasures so that they could look after their subjects better. Small wonder that people wanted to. The organization was secret, the Purpose of Impressing on the Candidate the Purity of the Pheasant', made their Vows not one of them,, were continually travelling through the world, unknown by the Exploits of Du Guesclin, Boucicaut, and it seems certain ancient wisdom which dignified the Soldier, was equivalent to Some, from the Victories of the highest are the sort of thing was a fraud. …

Phrase length: 3

Note

This is a simple method of generating text from a screed. An initial phrase is chosen, the final word selected as a match, and the same word is sought elsewhere in the text. The phrase succeeding it is selected and its final world found again, and so on. Words are linked by their use in the model passage, but they are obviously not necessarily used properly in their new context. Even so, it sometimes seems convincing. Increasing the length of the phrases keeps more natural language together, and so gives better chunks of text.

Before you go, think about this…

Asked about great speakers, Archbishop Whately (1787-1863), Archbishop of Dublin (1831-63), is said to have replied, “When the moon shines brightly we say, ‘How beautiful the moon is’, and when the sun shines we say, ‘How beautiful the field, the trees and the hills which it illuminates’. Of the sun we do not speak. So the best orator is like the sun—you think of the thing he advocates. The second best is like the moon—you think only of him.”

The Wisdom of Carl
The continuity between atomic physics, molecular chemistry, and that holy of holies, the nature of reproduction and heredity, has now been established. No new principle of science need be invoked. It looks as if there are a small number of simple facts that can be used to understand the enormous intricacy and variety of living things. Molecular genetics also teaches that each organism has its own particularity.
