Impeach Blair Letter:
The US administration admitted as the war started that they would have invaded even if Saddam had left. At no stage did these greedy self-seekers have anything other than personal enrichment and revenge in their heads. Nazis won the world war after all. The world should shiver in terror at the injustice if these criminals are not impeached.The war parties argued that the avoidance of the war was in Saddam’s own hands but he refused to flee, saving his people much suffering. He had the chance to save his people but spurned it. The whole tenor of this is that the Iraqi people were to be made to suffer because of the intransigence of their obnoxious leader. Not only was the war illegal but its intent was presented as punitive. It was nothing other than immoral despite the crocodile piety of these so-called Christian leaders.
Bush was not elected but twice defrauded the US electorate to get into power. Yet, the people of the US seem unabashed that this man should have led their sons into a mad adventure on the basis of hatred of Moslems, or greed for oil. The call among peace loving and democratic people now is to punish the crypto-Nazis and strengthen the democratic process so that the same disaster cannot happen again.

Let them know the killing—and destruction of our own hard won democracy in the name of the “war on terrorism&rdquo—were not in our names!
