Impeach Blair Letter:
Wars are about economics. Bush was the oil corporations’ president. No one denies it. Bush and Blair and their immediate administrations pretended war was a moral issue though it was economic. Iraq has ten percent of the world’s oil reserves. Vice President Dick Cheney told us. Cheney, then head of Halliburton, negotiated contracts worth millions when Saddam was the puppet of the US. His company swallowed up millions during the aftermath of the war. Now he is trying to undermine Obama. Mugging the Arabs directly was easier than just pulling strings.Obama must relieve the fear by pursuing Bush for war crimes, and Blair must be treated similarly in the UK. Illegality must be seen to be punished, especially when it is by the President or Prime Minister.
Some of us supported “our boys” in Iraq so much that we demanded they be allowed to return home immediately, while they were sound in mind and body, and before they had made orphans out of more poor Arab children. If Christianity is about making widows and orphans, no wonder it is waning. We said, “Cease this Devilish murder”. Now Obama is doing it, he should announce a doctrine that will forbid US governments from committing the same crimes again. Seneca said, “Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.” Bush and Blair were rulers. They were obviously not wise, flaunted their religion, and had contempt for the people.

Send them to local newspapers too. Pester local and national representatives, MPs, Governors, Senators, PMs, Presidents, anyone important, with as many as you need to get attention. Let them know the killing—and destruction of our own hard won democracy in the name of the “war on terrorism&rdquo—were not in our names!
