Draft Impeachment Letter:
Few people would not support their own military going into battle to defend their own country. The US and UK soldiers in Iraq were not fighting for their country. They were the private armies of a minority, fighting for their own specific greedy interests. Bush tricked his way into the White House, and Blair treated his party and the British people with contempt. The anti-war movement should now demand the impeachment of the pair of them. Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the US Declaration of Independence, said, “I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature”. Did he foresee Bush and Blair? In the one sided war, many thousands of lives were lost, overwhelmingly Iraqis. Was this necessary? The Washington Post revealed that the Bush administration decided to attack Iraq within six days of the twin tower atrocity. It was never war! It was revenge. Revenge against the wrong people! Should we feel proud of punishing innocent people?
Bush was not elected but twice defrauded the US electorate to get into power. Yet, the people of the US seem unabashed that this man should have led their sons into a mad adventure on the basis of hatred of Moslems, or greed for oil. The call among peace loving and democratic people now is to punish the crypto-Nazis and strengthen the democratic process so that the same disaster cannot happen again.

Protest
Send them to local newspapers too. Pester local and national representatives, MPs, Governors, Senators, PMs, Presidents, anyone important, with as many as you need to get attention. Let them know the killing—and destruction of our own hard won democracy in the name of the “war on terrorism&rdquo—were not in our names! The criminals must be punished or our values are held up by the world as hypocritical. Lists of media and politicians can be found online. Here are some websites with email links:
